Welcome

2027 IJOPM Workshop, co-organized by the International Journal of Operations & Production Management (IJOPM), and the school of management, Zhejiang University will be held on 4th to 5th January 2027 at Hangzhou.
The aim of the workshop is to support empirical operations and supply chain management (OSCM) scholars - especially early career researchers - in developing a deeper understanding of IJOPM and strengthening the positioning of their research for future submissions to the journal. Over the two days, the IJOPM Editorial Team will engage in a variety of sessions, including discussions on publishing in IJOPM, strategies for submitting high-quality and impactful empirical papers, mentoring for early career researchers, and providing face-to-face feedback during parallel paper presentation sessions.

Below are some highlights of the workshop:
  • IJOPM Editors will provide an introduction and updates about IJOPM in the IJOPM Introduction Session.
  • IJOPM Editors, together with editors from other OM journals, will discuss the tips and tricks for submitting empirical papers to top OM journals in the Panel Discussion Session.
  • Registered early career researchers, including PhD students and junior faculty members, will be invited to participate in the IJOPM Mentoring Session, in which they will be paired with mentors from the IJOPM Editorial Review Board.
  • Researchers can present extended abstracts or full papers in the Parallel Presentation Sessions and receive face-to-face feedback from IJOPM Editors.
  • Full papers submitted to the workshop will be considered for IJOPM Best Paper Awards (chaired by IJOPM Co-Editors-in-Chief).
